2- Ways to integrate Google Plus with your website

Google Plus

Much like Facebook, Google Plus is new social media where we can write blogs, create business pages, share pictures and videos.  More importantly, Google helps you to promote your content in Google Plus to Google search engine.  Google Plus business pages can be directly searched from Google by inserting a “+”. For example, type “+starbucks” in the search box, it will bring you to Starbucks Google Plus page.  The integration of your website with Google Plus will help you to recommend your business on Google Search and share it with Google Circle.

Currently Google Plus provides two plug-ins for developers and webmasters to integrate Google Plus with their own websites.

#1: Add Google Plus button to your website pages

To start adding a +1 button visit Google Plus develops,

#2: Add Google Plus page badge on your website

To start adding a +1 button visit Google Plus develops,

Under Plugins -> Badge -> Configuration Tool, enter your Google Plus page ID, which is a 21 digit number in your Google Plus page URL. For example, the page URL is https://plus.google.com/b/115652607749865757310, the page ID will be 115652607749865757310.

Actually Google Plus badge includes a Google Plus button, and additionally allows your visitors to add you directly to their circles on Google plus. You can include both, to increase the chance that visitors may +1 your site. But it is recommended to have a Plus button connected to each article or blog, and Badge button connected to your Google Plus page.
