Obviously live-streaming is where it's at. Enter Meerkat, another live video streaming app but with a twist. Meerkat automatically tweets out that the video is streaming on the user's Twitter account. Unlike other video-sharing platforms such as YouTube, however, Meerkat streams are ephemeral.
Once the live stream is over, the video disappears from the site. It's something like Snapchat, except that you're sharing with anyone who wants to watch, not just your friends.
